1. What is sMiles program?

sMiles is Air Côte d’Ivoire loyalty program which recognizes our most frequently flyers for their trust and loyalty.
In compensation for trips made with Air Côte d’Ivoire, you have a wide range of ways to earn and redeem miles with exclusive benefits and rewards.

2. How to join?

The membership is free. To benefit from the program, a customer must be at least 2 years old on the membership date. For minors, parental or guardianship authorization is required.
The application form is available in Air Côte d'Ivoire sales office, on board, in travel agencies, on website of the company: www.aircotedivoire.com

3. How many different card types does “sMiles” Program offer?

The program has 04 card levels as explained below:

  • The first 03 levels are classics: sMiles 3 Stars, sMiles 4 Stars and sMiles 5 Stars ;
  • The 4th level is an honorary level: sMiles Diamond

4. How can I move from one tier to another?

The progression from one tier to another is based on qualifying miles earned during the time period. 25,000 Qualifying Miles are needed to reach level 4 stars and 60,000 miles for the 5 stars tier.
Diamond tier is accessible from 100,000 miles or invitation.

5. What is the validity of my card?

The 3 stars card is permanent. The others are valid for 03 years from the entry date in the level

6. When will I receive my sMiles card?

Your sMiles membership card will be sent after taking into account your first trip. You can use your membership number until you receive your sMiles card. It will be delivered to you in an Air Côte d’Ivoire agency or in your usual travel agency.

7. What should I do if I lose my sMiles card?

Any Member noting the loss or theft of his sMiles card shall immediately inform the loyalty service by mail, email or fax. The first replacement will be made free of charge and 100 miles shall be deducted from the Member's account for each subsequent replacement.

8. My name is not written correctly on my sMiles card. What should I do?

Contact the sMiles service by mail, email or fax for a correction of the spelling of your name. A new card will be issued.

9. I received two sMiles cards with 2 different numbers. What should I do?

Please send a copy of these two cards by mail, email or fax to the sMiles service that will merge the two accounts and inform you of which card you should keep. The second card will be returned to Air Côte d’Ivoire.

10. How can I ensure all my miles will be credited to my account?

To ensure the credit of your miles to your account, always remember to provide your sMiles membership number to each reservation, ticket purchase and check in at the airport.

11. How do I update my personals information in my account?

Every member has the opportunity to change personal information in his account by accessing his personal space online.
However, information about the full name and date of birth can only be changed by the sMiles service. In this case, a request must be made by mail, email or fax to the sMiles service.

12. How do I claim my Miles on Air Côte d’Ivoire flights?

For new members, a retroactive credit of miles is effective for flights taken 6 months prior to membership date upon presenting your boarding passes, passenger receipts or every proof of your travel.

sMiles also gives you the opportunity to credit your account for flights operated after membership on our lines. The maximum claim period is 12 months from the date of the trip.

To do this, you may submit a regularization request by mail, email or fax by providing a copy of the boarding pass, passenger receipts or every proof of your travel or make a request online through your personal space.

13. What is the validity of my miles?

The Qualifying miles are valid for 3 years.
The Award miles are valid for 5 years (e.g. miles obtained in March 2013 will expire at the end of March 2018).

14. What should I do if I forget my PIN Code?

You can request your PIN code online through our web site, visiting an Air Côte d’Ivoire agency or by contacting your customer service.
For privacy reasons, the PIN code is sent by email solely. Please use and provide a personal and valid email address.

15. How can I earn Miles?

After joining the program, a sMiles account is opened for you. Thus, every trip you make at an eligible fare (except award ticket) entitles you to earn some miles. The number of miles you earn depends on :

  • The distance traveled
  • The tariff paid for
  • The qualification level

2 types of miles exist within the program:
The qualifying miles used only to determine your status within the program
The award miles that can be redeemed for awards

16. How can I benefit from my Miles?

The miles accumulated through your flights can be redeemed for the following awards:

  • Free ticket
  • Excess baggage
  • Access to Business Lounge
  • Freight shipment
  • Penalty settlement

To qualify for these awards, simply make the request via the web form available in your personal space. 17. Can I change or cancel an Award?

The modification of an award is governed by the conditions for granting an award. You can find them in the explanatory guide of the program or on our web site www.aircotedivoire.com.
No cancellation of award is allowed after award coupon issuance.

20. How many days in advance do I need to make my reward reservation?

21. Where should I go to claim an Award ticket?

Award tickets can be collected at any Air Côte d'Ivoire agencies upon presentation of a valid identity card (passport or ID card).

22. Can I transfer my miles to another member of the program?

You cannot transfer miles between accounts neither within the same program nor with different programs.
